Bio

Matt is responsible for all of our technical design, server-side development and operations. He also looks after the Erskine server infrastructure, maintenance and support.

With a degree in computing from the Open University (which he began studying for at age 16), Matt has been immersed in programming from an early age and has picked up more than a few tricks along the way.

Matt’s experience covers many of the more mainstream languages including Java, Python, PHP and Javascript and a few of the not so mainstream ones including IO, Clojure and Haskell. Although he gets about, his bread and butter is developing websites and applications using the Django web framework.

When he’s not squinting at a computer, he enjoys puzzles, procedural detective shows, walks on the beach and big knitted cardigans. He compulsively hoards stationary and switches to-do list apps twice a week.
