Erskine is delighted to welcome our new little chick into the nest. Emily was born in May to the proud parents of our Vicky Cawrey and her husband John. Baby and parents are doing really well and we’re all looking forward to having Vic back with us next year.
A hearty welcome to our two new family members, Matt Smith and James Willock. These two strapping young lads have recently joined us as junior web designers, and are doing a sterling job so far. Enthusiastic, clever and talented; keep an eye on these two in the years to come!
Our old buddy Glen is off to pastures new, London to be exact. He has decided, along with his partner Emma, that the big smoke is the place to be. His dry sense of humour and unfeasibly large ears will be missed, but as with all Erskinites, he will always be welcome to drop in for a cup tea or possibly something a little stronger. Good luck Swinfield!
We’re thrilled to announce that we recently won a long-term contract to provide web services for Derby City Council. We’re very excited to be partnering with Derby’s forward-thinking, standards-aware software development team, beginning with a major rethink and redesign of the primary website.
We met some exceptional candidates (or “contestants”, as Greg calls them) for our front-end developer role. Ultimately, it is multi-talented code-smith Wil Linssen who’ll be bringing all his skills to our yard. Plus he is a human, able to talk to other humans without machines. He’ll fit right in.
We’re just back from this year’s .Net Magazine Awards held at London’s Millbank Tower, and very proud to be runners-up in the Design Agency Of The Year category. Congratulations to fellow runners-up the beardy-faced Otterball, and the winners of course, our good friends Clearleft.
